Good Faith Exam (GFE)
Your Safety Comes First
At Rustic Chic Aesthetics, every treatment begins with your health and safety in mind. Because our injectable treatments are medical procedures, patients are required to complete a Good Faith Examination (GFE) with a qualified medical provider before receiving injectable treatments. This is typically only needed 1 time per year.
A GFE is a medical evaluation that helps determine whether a requested treatment is appropriate for you. Your medical history, current medications and supplements, allergies, health conditions, previous treatment experiences, and other relevant factors may be reviewed to identity potential contraindications or concerns before treatment.
This additional step allows potential medical consideration to be identified before your aesthetic treatment and helps ensure that your treatment plan is appropriate for your individual needs.
What to Expect
Your once annually GFE is completed separately from your appointment at Rustic Chic Aesthetics. Once your evaluation has been completed and you have been medically cleared for treatment, you can move forward with your aesthetic consultation and treatment plan at Rustic Chic Aesthetics. The GFE is a separate medical service and is Not included in the cost of your aesthetic treatment. The current cost is approximately $20-$30, depending on the medical provider.
When is a GEF Required?
A current GFE must be completed before your 1st injectable treatment at Rustic Chic Aesthetics. An updated evaluation may also be required when there is a significant change in your health history, medications, medical status, or when otherwise indicated as part of your medical care.
Please complete your GFE before your scheduled injectable appointment. If the required evaluation has not been completed, your treatment may need to be rescheduled.
